The Clubhouse

The original club house was built in 1897 and has played host to some memorable occasions over the years. In 2008, Dukinfield Golf Club introduced a bold new plan to build a brand new clubhouse and to construct several new holes for the golf course on land newly made available to the club. On February 21st 2009, the new clubhouse officially and proudly opened its doors to all existing and new members.

The new clubhouse has been built just a short distance away from the existing one, but the development is in a far more commanding position, offering spectacular views to Manchester City Centre, the Cheshire Plains and the Welsh hills beyond.

Many features and improvements have been made to the new club house, including a much larger pro shop enabling us to offer a wider choice and range of golfing attire and equipment. Our state of the art locker rooms provide pleasant surroundings in which to prepare for, and freshen up after, your round of golf.

The bar and dining area are well appointed, offering extensive options to cater for that special event, be it a member’s formal dinner, a private family occasion, or a wedding reception. The bar and dining room lead out to a spectacular veranda, extending the whole length of the clubhouse and providing a great place to enjoy drinks and the views on those warm summer days!
