Ladies Results – May 2011

During May 2011, The Ladies played 3 singles competitions, 2 Stablefords were won by Maureen Bailey and the other by Cathy Peel.
The Medal round winner was Beth Marsden.
A 4BBB Stableford was won by Audrey Marsh and Jean Dean.
The winning pair in the Coronation Foursomes were Sheila Bennett and Val Wilson.
The Ladies invitation to Gents (Mixed Greensome) was won by Joe Lester, one of our youngest men and Rosemary Thompson our oldest playing lady (no age divulged)

The highlight of the month was our Ladies Open AM-AM
An excellent day was had by all, the weather stayed dry and it was the first time our new course has been played in an open in its completed state.
The Winners: Julie Wilshaw & Angela Moores from Dukinfield with Trish Davies & Doreen Roberts (Heaton Moor GC).
Runners Up: Julia Mason & Janet Wych from Dukinfield with Chris Furzer & Carole Cooper (Lymm GC).
Third Place: Sally Lester (Dukinfield), J.Fletcher (Werneth), J.Wrigley (Fairfield) and L.Lyons (Warrington).
